I recall a Tim Ferris podcast interview with LeBron James and his trainer Mike Mancias where James said "I fell in love with the process." I don't recall the context or question but that line stuck with me.

I've heard others who are masters in their work say similar things. Yes, they've got goals but the journey is far more important to them.
